28 Dec Money and The Power of Positive Thinking
Think about it. Have you ever heard of a lackadaisical millionaire? If you were trying to describe the personality of any wealthy person you know, somewhere the word “determined” would probably come up. Rich people just usually aren’t the type of people who say, “Well, I’m probably not going to be able to get the thing I want, so why bother?”
Which leads us to wonder if there really is a connection between the will and the way. (As in, where there’s a will, there’s a way.) If you are positive about making more money, will it actually happen?
As it turns out, there really is a correlation between a person’s attitude and their ability to accumulate wealth. These are the people who don’t give up and believe anything is possible. So how can you become one of those people? Adjust your thinking. Try keeping a few of these ideas at the front of your mind.
I can look at my finances without fear.
The first thing you need to do is to take a look at your goal and where you are in relation to where you want to be. Is there anything holding you back? Do you need to quit your job and look for a new one? Do you need to ask the bank for a loan? Do you need to ask for help from others? These are things that will often freeze people in their tracks before they pursue their dreams. But if you examine your financial state to see how you are going to get by, there’s nothing to fear in going for your big dream.
I have the power to create the success and build the wealth I desire.
The first step is often the hardest one to take. The reason many people aren’t following their dreams is because they just can’t take that first step. They may be talking themselves out of it because they are afraid they are going to fail. Or they might feel overwhelmed. You’ll never get anywhere, though, if you don’t start. So get a plan in place and make it happen.
I am worthy of all the richness I desire.
Sometimes you need to remind yourself that it isn’t unreasonable to want more. If you are working hard for what you earn, you absolutely are worth what you get. Don’t hold back because you don’t think you are being fair to everybody. You might be recognized monetarily for your accomplishment, and that’s okay. Enjoy it! If you need to post reminders about it. Hang your awards in your office that tell those who enter that you are the best at what you do.
I am wealthy in more ways than one.
While the road to becoming wealthy may seem long and never-ending, well, it is. That means you shouldn’t wait for your end destination to enjoy your bounty. Keep doing what you are doing, but stop to take a vacation once in a while. Share experiences with your loved ones.
